Other ways you can use your Prezly sites
Use Prezly as is or take advantage of our open API to create a multimedia blog, PR portfolio, internal comms hub, help center & more
Prezly sites were designed to make it super simple and convenient for you to keep all your news, press releases and media up-to-date and in one, easy-to-share place.
But that's not all they can do.
You can use Prezly out of the box for setting up things like internal announcements, crisis sites, PR portfolios and blogs, or take advantage of our open Prezly API to mold your site to whatever you want.
Here are just a few of the ways you can use your Prezly sites for wider comms:
➜ Internal news & announcements
➜ A portfolio of your best work
➜ Company help center
➜ A multimedia blog
Great for: teams
Privacy settings, user permissions, VPN access, categories and integrated campaigns make Prezly the perfect tool for handling your internal comms.
It's actually what our own team uses for everything from new project announcements to quarterly updates and posts introducing new hires.
For more information on how to set up Prezly to handle your internal communications, read our guide, How to improve your internal communications with Prezly.
Perfect for: agencies
You already publish your stories in Prezly. Why not make them work double by bringing together your best work in a portfolio for you or your agency?
That's exactly what D'Ieteren did with their hub site.
Or, why not make your existing Stories work even harder? Star agency oona organizes the best stories from all their clients by sector and theme, making it super convenient for journalists to discover stories they didn't even know they were looking for. How to do it
The best way to create a portfolio of your client work is through using Prezly hub sites, which are available in our Premium Plan. However, if you just want a place to collate your favorite Stories, you can achieve this through setting up a regular site.
Simply click the "Create site" button in the Sites page, and set up its name, URL and description the way you normally would for a client's site. Personalize it with your brand fonts and colours, and add contact details. If you want to share it only with select prospects, set the site to private.
To populate it, either create new Stories as you normally would, or duplicate your best Stories from your other sites and move these to your portfolio by opening the duplicate, and selecting your new portfolio site from the dropdown on the left.
Then just edit as you see fit and, when you're happy, hit publish.
Great for: tech businesses
We've recently moved our own help center to Prezly and used our own API to style it to fit with the rest of the website. Doesn't it look great?!
If you want to try it for yourself, take a look at our developer documentation.
Your site supports all sorts of multimedia embeds, making it perfect for hosting a blog that showcases your brand – or your client's – in a visual way.
