Prezly is ISO27001:2022 certified
Prezly has achieved ISO27001:2022 certification, validating our Data Protection & Security measures through external auditing to meet current security standards.
The International Organisation for Standardisation, comprising 168 member states, establishes reliable, transparent, and consistent standards across a staggering 24,742 fields.
ISO/IEC 27001 is the globally recognized standard for Information Security Management Systems (ISMS). It enables companies to demonstrate robust data protection practices to their stakeholders and clients.
Unlike GDPR, ISO 27001 is comprehensive; covering electronic data, physical asset protection, and third-party supplier data sharing. Many experts consider it to be the most in-depth data security certification that exists today.
Consider the amount of data you manage with Prezly: contacts, stories, assets, colleagues, statistics, and analytics – all crucial to your communications operations.
We've always prioritized this responsibility, but recognized that mere assurances were insufficient in an increasingly security-conscious world.
The independent audit of our practices provides our customers with necessary reassurances:
- We've implemented measures to mitigate cybersecurity and physical security risks
- Our assets, our customers' data, intellectual property, employee data, and third-party information, are secure and confidential
- We maintain a centralized framework for information security
- Our organization-wide improvements in people, processes, and technology enhance our response to various threats
- We've addressed gaps in our physical and cybersecurity defences
Retaining our ISO-certification requires annual renewal, which will ensure ongoing compliance and commitment. This not only provides current assurances to our clients, but also demonstrates our long-term dedication to maintaining these high standards.
As part of our certification, we’re also launching the Trust Center, powered by Vanta. This centralized hub connects directly to our core systems, providing continuous, real-time monitoring of our security controls.
Through the Trust Center, all customers can easily access essential documentation, review our public security measures, and request access to confidential documents such as recent penetration test reports and our official ISO certification.
Lastly, I want to say thanks to our team, as this isn't only proof of the fact that our infrastructure adheres to today's security standards but also shows the maturity of our team and the processes we undertake.
