I received a data request email from an address that isn't in my contacts. What should I do?
From time to time, you may receive email messages requesting for a data review or deletion of their account.
You can filter your Contacts by "Data request" and the type of request to check if the email address is there (see the related article at the bottom of this page for more information).
If the target email isn't found within your Contacts database, it is likely it may not be a genuine request or possibly a request that someone sent to you by accident.
Note that the data request form is accessible from the footer of your site, and the person sending the request needs to type their own email address into the form:

As this form is accessible to the general public, any person can enter an email address and complete the form to trigger a data request, without them actually being present in your Prezly database.
If you encounter such messages, we recommend reaching out to the address given and state that you have no information related to said email account.
